Hangzhou-Shaoxing-Taijiang Railway Station Building - Linhai StationTime: 01.20.2026

As China's first high‑speed‑rail PPP project controlled by private capital, the Hangzhou‑Shaoxing‑Taizhou Railway links the cultural‑tourism and economic threads of the Yangtze River Delta region. Linhai Station, a key stop on the route and an interchange hub for the Ningbo‑Taizhou‑Wenzhou Railway and Hangzhou‑Taizhou High‑Speed Railway, undertakes the core mission of "station‑city integration and cultural heritage inheritance". Leveraging its strengths in intelligent heavy‑industry equipment technology, Hualing Heavy Industry has taken an in‑depth part in key phases including station relocation and renovation, steel‑structure construction and implementation of cultural elements. Supported by customized solutions and high‑efficiency equipment, it facilitated the successful completion of this high‑speed‑rail gateway that blends ancient‑city charm with modern technology.
Located in Linhai, Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province, Linhai Station boasts a total construction area of 27,000 square metres after this relocation and renovation. Its station yard scale has been expanded to 4 platforms and 10 tracks, with passenger gathering capacity raised to over 2,000 people. Adopting the design concept of "Soaring Peng over Linhai, an Ancient City of Mountains and Seas", the project integrates elements of the Taizhou Prefectural City Wall into the architectural texture. It confronted multiple challenges, including high safety risks in construction alongside existing railway lines, stringent precision requirements for cultural‑themed forms, and intensive cross‑disciplinary operations. Hualing Heavy Industry set up a special technical team to optimize equipment and construction techniques in a targeted manner and delivered full‑process technical support to ensure the renovation project was completed on schedule.
In the construction of steel structures and cultural‑themed forms, high‑precision equipment and intelligent technologies from Hualing Heavy Industry played a vital role throughout the process. For the construction of the inverted triangular truss‑structured canopy covering 18,900 square metres, the company’s intelligent lifting equipment, combined with 3D modelling technology, enabled accurate connection and stable erection of components with errors controlled at the millimetre level. Meanwhile, to restore the texture of the ancient city wall, custom‑built intelligent cutting equipment carried out fine processing on beige granite panels, perfectly reproducing the concave‑convex lines of vertical walls while balancing structural stability and cultural expressiveness, and advancing the realization of the "unique scenery for each station" design.
Intelligent construction and safety control constituted core requirements of this project. The technical equipment of Hualing Heavy Industry was fully adapted to the project’s BIM full‑life‑cycle management system. During construction, seamless coordination between intelligent control equipment and BIM technology allowed precise scheduling for the relocation and modification of signal and communication facilities on existing lines, and equipment switching and testing were efficiently finished within multiple track‑maintenance windows. Furthermore, the adoption of energy‑saving and environment‑friendly equipment greatly cut construction energy consumption. Together with refined construction workflows, it minimized disruptions to the operation of existing lines, aligning with the philosophy of green high‑speed‑rail development.
From steel‑structure erection and cultural‑element implementation to reconstruction of existing lines and adaptation of intelligent systems, Hualing Heavy Industry earned high recognition from all participating parties for its high‑standard performance, reliable equipment and professional technologies. Its participation in the Linhai Station project marks a major breakthrough for the company in existing‑line reconstruction of high‑speed railways and cultural‑landmark projects, testifying to its comprehensive service capacity under complex working conditions.
Today, Linhai Station stands as a cultural landmark on the Hangzhou‑Shaoxing‑Taizhou Railway, offering one‑stop transfers among high‑speed railways, rail transit and other transport modes. Going forward, taking this project as a benchmark, Hualing Heavy Industry will keep forging ahead in high‑speed‑rail infrastructure and the integration of culture and engineering. With innovative equipment and technical solutions, it will empower the construction of more regional transport hubs and contribute to the high‑quality integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta.
